General Vent Specifications

All vents are custom made, but our standard specifications are:

100% Kiln Dried Clear Western Red Cedar
Frame is 2-1/2" wide and 1-1/2" deep
Edge of frame is routered with a small concave cut (example image)
Louvers are made of planed 1 x 2 clear cedar with rounded, router cut edges (example image)
Louvers are set one at the extreme top, one at the very bottom, and the others spaced approximately 1-1/2" on center(example image)
Joints and Louvers are secured with stainless steel staples
The back of each vent is screened with 1/16th inch aluminum wire mesh (example image)
All our vents are designed to be flush mounted on your gable and require no special framing. Click here for for additional installation details.
